Advertising Content Specialist

Job Summary

During your day you will be responsible for…wait for it…writing copy! Much of your workload will involve researching medical information and creating unique and interesting content for our customer’s websites as well as producing engaging and effective copy for various advertising platforms. You will also assist in numerous other projects involving business collateral (brochures, posters), outbound marketing pieces (direct mail, print ads, radio/TV scripts), newsletters, press releases and company promotions. You will work closely with our content team to master the nuances of the different “voices” you will write in. Additionally, you will help edit and proof the many jobs that pass through our busy company hard working employees to ensure we are sending out our best work the first time, every time.

You don’t need to use Oxford commas but should at least know what they are. The ideal candidate should have outstanding communication skills and a strong interest in writing creative and compelling CTA’s.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 1-3 years writing in marketing/advertising
  • Experience writing ad copy is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to write grammatically sound copy for a variety of formats
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse co-worker groups?
  • Flexibility to adapt to different “voices” and stylistic changes as dictated by individual projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of marketing concepts and how to apply them
