Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Although I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I have enjoyed living in several different states, including Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Mississippi and Florida. I currently reside in my hometown of Battle Ground, Wash. (Go Tigers!) I enjoy the lovely responsibilities of parenthood with my wife of eight years, Kelsey. We have a 4-year-old (Lilly) and a 1-year-old (Dylan). I also have two small dogs (Bunky and Penny) and one cat (Arnold Palmer—We call him Arnie for short).

What do you do at Fuel, and what is the most valuable resource you provide to our members?

I am a regional manager for the Southeast, including North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. My previous career experience and schooling all tie back to project management in the medical space. I feel the most valuable resource I offer to members is using my past experience and knowledge as a project manager to organize, track and facilitate the many different needs our members bring to the table. It’s something I enjoy doing, and it takes a lot off the plates of our busy ENT and audiology members.

What does a typical workday look like for you?

All my workdays have one thing in common: communication. Whether internal or external, communication (in all forms) is a key component to any productive workday. I also work very closely with our region’s stellar account manager, Maria Haberle. Maria and I work hand in hand to provide great customer service, timely responses and quality outcomes to all our members. Thanks for all you do, Maria!

What is your professional background?

My professional background consists of working in hospital supply chain operations, medical facility space planning, capital equipment procurement and general project management.

What do you like to do in your free time? Do you have a fun fact about yourself you’d like to share?

My wife and I recently bought a two-and-a-half-acre property in our hometown and have been working hard renovating and making it a place our children can enjoy growing up in. Being a baseball player at heart, I enjoy reliving my glory days playing slow pitch softball with friends or hitting the local golf course. A fun fact: I once had our reigning office ping-pong champion, Regional Director Jesse Boyer, up against the ropes as we played an intense game of ping-pong in front of the entire company. Eventually, I let the crowd roars get to my head, and my forehand smash started to fail me. Jesse was victorious in the end.
