Tell us a little bit about yourself (i.e., professional background, hobbies, interests, etc.).
I started at Fuel in 2011, and this company and the people in it have seen me through a few different phases of life. Four years ago, I moved back to my hometown of Bend, Oregon, where my husband and I are raising our two children, Cameron, 4, and Boone, 2. We’ve gotten pretty good at toting them around on our outdoor adventures, but we look forward to the day when they want to hike on their own two feet.
What is the most valuable resource you provide to our members, and what does an average day look like?
The most valuable resource I provide is my personalized approach to working with each of our members. I enjoy the process of working with their teams to uncover their unique challenges, goals and opportunities. Together with my counterpart, Sarah Vintze, we’re consistently communicating with the practices in our region, often uncovering new ways to support them. We’re incredibly fortunate at Fuel to have such a diverse range of in-house expertise—from professional development and HR to web, design and even billing support. All these resources come together to offer our members unparalleled support and access to knowledge that’s hard to find anywhere else.
Tell us something unique about you.
There are few things I love more than a good deal. I clip coupons, hunt for secondhand treasures and will wait months for something I’m eyeing to go on sale. I once found a leather Rejuvenation ottoman at a garage sale, and I talked about it for months—oh wait, I still am. Frugal is basically my middle name.
What is one thing you cannot live without?
I can’t survive without my calendar. Wow, that makes me sound old! A close second would be reading a good book, snuggled up with my dog and a glass of wine. I suppose that’s not making me sound any younger, but oh well!
