Heidi Askew, Account Manager

Tell us a little bit about yourself (i.e., professional background, hobbies, interests, etc.).

I started with Fuel Medical Group in 2021 and have been in marketing with a focus on digital advertising for 13 years. I’ve lived all over the West Coast and Hawaii but have made the Pacific Northwest my home for the last nine years—it’s where both my and my husband’s family now reside. I really enjoy taking advantage of all nature has to offer here, from the coast to the mountains. I love to cook and travel as much as possible, and I have a slight obsession with tennis—more watching than playing these days.

What is the most valuable resource you provide to our members, and what does an average day look like?

What’s unique about working with Fuel is that our sole focus is audiology and ENT, which allows us to be experts in this field with data spanning the entire country. We have such a depth of knowledge and resources within Fuel to rely on. If one of our members brings a project to us that we haven’t come across, we are backed by experts to help us create custom solutions.

My typical day at Fuel varies from day to day, which I love. Most days include both member and internal calls, continued work efforts toward marketing strategies and projects for our members, collaborating within internal departments on projects, working with outside agencies on behalf of our members for external marketing, occasionally traveling to our member’s practices and, once in a while, spending time with fellow Fuelies at one of our many Fuel staff events.

Tell us something unique about you.

I apparently had no fear as a child, which led to 10 broken bones by the time I was 16—my poor mother. Now, I have fear.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

My lovely daughter and husband, of course, and my crazy pets, but tennis is right up there. 😉
