Our mission to improve every patient’s outcome and achieve every clinic’s potential aligns with the ASCENT mission to provide the best resources, education and networking for otolaryngology practices. This year, ASCENT is hosting their annual educational conference in Austin, TX from September 8-11. The ASCENT 2019 conference will bring together those working in otolaryngology practices across the United States and strives to be the premier source of otolaryngology specific knowledge, professional development and networking for all attendees. ASCENT focuses on facilitating networks between ENT practices to share tips and best practices and the annual conference is a great opportunity to nurture those relationships and create new ones.
Joining the ASCENT membership base provides a number of benefits to help your practice grow and succeed. Chief among these is the opportunity to earn the Certification in Otolaryngology Practice Management (COPM). The COPM is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated mastery of core competencies specific to otolaryngology practice management and signifies success in a leadership role and the ability to manage a practice in the most professional and resourceful manner.
Members have access to an active discussion forum to connect with their peers and receive feedback as well as a large resource library with more than 3,000 policies and procedures, booklets, plans and forms. Membership also includes access to live and previously recorded educational webinars and trainings, most of which meet criteria to obtain ASCENT CEUs, which are vital to maintain the COPM certification. They will keep you up to date on current topics with weekly e-newsletters and through the quarterly publication, Oto’s Scope magazine.
