Session Description
Billing and coding teams are under unprecedented pressure. Denials are rising, documentation is changing faster than policies can keep up, and administrators keep asking the same question: “Where’s the money?” When revenue slows, coders are often expected to find answers, without clearer documentation, better tools, or time to step back and recalibrate.
This immersive, in-person bootcamp centers on: identifying where revenue is quietly being left on the table, where documentation gaps are fueling denials, and how evolving AI-generated notes are triggering new forms of automated payer scrutiny. Attendees will leave not only coding with greater precision, but also better equipped to explain why codes are supported, defend decisions, and guide providers toward documentation that supports both compliance and reimbursement.
- We are offering CEUs through AAPC and ASCENT.
Learning Objectives
- Apply industry-standard ENT coding approaches to E/M visits, in-office procedures, allergy, and surgery using real-world clinical documentation
- Identify common documentation gaps that limit reimbursement and contribute to increased denials
- Recognize how AI-generated documentation is altering payer review logic—and how to code defensively in response
- Strengthen communication with providers by translating coding decisions into clear, actionable documentation feedback
- Reduce uncertainty around revenue performance by aligning coding practices with defensible, audit-ready standards
