I thrive in professional environments that allow me to find out-of-the-box solutions for day-to-day problems. At Fuel, this translates to troubleshooting and brainstorming with my members to find individualized marketing tactics to best suit their needs, their goals and their target markets. Additionally, I work to help my members apply tried and true best practices to the ever-changing landscape of marketing and messaging channels.
I have more than 20 years of experience across nonprofit development, corporate partnerships, strategic planning, marketing/messaging and public relations. I’ve spent more than 10 years in marketing director roles for organizations addressing poverty and food insecurity, addiction and mental health awareness, at-risk youth advancement and girls empowerment. My professional and volunteer assignments have spanned across the U.S., Europe, Asia and Africa.
At Fuel, I feel most successful in my role when members tell me that they’ve just always struggled/wondered/willfully ignored this or that aspect of their marketing and now they feel like they can really conquer it in a way that will make a positive impact to their business and patients.
My hobbies include traveling as far and often as possible, road-tripping when time is more limited and getting to be wife/mom to a rad family of free-spirited humans who enjoy almost any activity on wheels!

Favorite Regional Dish In Your Territory
Charleston is still one of my favorite cities to visit for work travel, and I still remember my first cup of she-crab soup! However, a pimento burger that I had at Ponce City Market on my last trip through Atlanta is a close second!
Fun Fact
While in the Peace Corps, I learned to speak a language, an African dialect that includes linguistic clicks!
