Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I was born and raised in the PNW and bought a home in beautiful Camas, Washington, in 2020. I have been married to my husband, Andrew, for just over three years, and we have the cutest kitten (in our opinion) named Lulu. Andrew and I are quite active and enjoy every sport together—whether watching or playing. My background is soccer, while Andrew’s is baseball, but he found himself signed up to play indoor soccer with me for the first time and was voted “Most Improved”! We enjoy quality time spent with our families and close friends and hope to start a family of our own someday.
What do you do at Fuel, and what is the most valuable resource you provide to our members?
I am an Account Manager with Fuel who provides marketing solutions for members in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky and a small part of Texas. I work alongside Regional Manager Torgen Alvstad to provide relevant and current business support services to help our members grow and, ultimately, make their visions for their practices come true. I believe a valuable resource that Torgen and I provide our members is a relationship of trust, which is the foundation that lets us offer our impactful services across several departments while heavily leaning on our internal teams and their expertise.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
My workday can vary day-to-day depending on the needs of my members; however, my day usually starts with checking my email and prepping my to-do list. Torgen and I spend time connecting with our members on weekly calls, working on projects within our workflow system and collaborating with our other departments to ensure our members’ expectations and preferences are met.
What is your professional background?
My professional career started in the sports travel industry, where we put on international sports tours for collegiate athletes and teams. I wore many hats, including communications, sales, AP/AR, marketing, website and invite design and program coordination. A lot of time was spent prepping for the tours, and the real fun occurred when we would travel abroad with the students and act as “chaperones,” guiding them on their international tours. I have now been with Fuel for just over two years and have enjoyed learning and growing in my role, where I get to focus on marketing and project management.
What do you like to do in your free time? Do you have a fun fact about yourself you’d like to share?
In my free time, you will always find me spending it with others—quality time is a high priority for me. I enjoy being outside whenever I can, which usually consists of playing some type of sport. A fun fact about me is that I have played soccer my entire life through college, where I tallied 38 career goals. I continued after my collegiate career to play semiprofessionally for Capital FC Atletica and Vancouver Victory.
