Tell us a little bit about yourself (i.e., professional background, hobbies, interests, etc.).
Prior to joining Fuel, I spent 10 years with Target Corporation as a store director, managing teams and operations. I ran stores in Missouri, Washington and Oregon before leaving to pursue a career transition full-time.
I received my bachelor’s in communication from Purdue University, so in pursuing my next steps, I concentrated my time on communications and content-based roles, which is how I landed at Fuel. I’ve been a digital content specialist here since October 2023.
I’m from Indiana and relocated to Oregon in 2018. I met my husband, Jake, that year, and we are expecting our first baby this November. We have two dogs: Banjo, an 11-year-old corgi, and Rader, a five-year-old lab.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, hiking, camping and spending time outdoors, entertaining with friends and taking road trips.
What is the most valuable resource you provide to our members, and what does an average day look like?
The most valuable resource I provide to members is the ability to customize content to meet their needs. If a specific service needs more web attention, we can quickly shift priorities to reach that goal.
Each day is spent researching informative material about relevant services and A LOT of writing with the intent of informing patients about how our members can add value to their lives through attentive care.
Tell us something unique about you.
I really enjoy eating and baking sweet treats. I recently joined a volunteer organization called Cake4Kids, where I get to bake birthday cakes for children who would otherwise go without. Cake is easily my favorite food, so it’s incredibly fun to be able to do this.
What is one thing you cannot live without?
I love spending time with my dogs and my daily cup of coffee in the morning.
