I’ve spent my 30+ year career in Human Resources with the objective of linking strategy and employee performance to help businesses achieve a goal-driven culture. I have developed recruitment strategies, training programs, engagement surveys and solutions, performance management processes, employee relations and compliance plans for medical practices, in addition to diverse business sectors such as higher education, apparel and banking. My background is further broadened by the five years I spent in the Air Force working on fighter jets. In addition to a master’s degree in human resources that kicked off my career, more recently, I earned a degree in Apparel Design from the Art Institute of Portland. In 2018, I wrote the chapter on HR for the 2018 Audiology Practice Management Handbook for Thieme publishers.
At Fuel, I’ve been involved in bringing together a great group of people—and I’m pretty proud of the fact that I got rid of annual reviews in order to focus on real-time feedback. Outside of work, I enjoy community service, learning new things and cooking.
