Tell us a little bit about yourself (i.e., professional background, hobbies, interests, etc.).

For nearly 20 years, I’ve served my community in various capacities: I’ve scaled mountains in search of lost hikers as a member of a local Search and Rescue Team, successfully de-escalated hostile customer interactions in retail and trained countless individuals on the finer points of various service arenas. As a hospital emergency code operator and telecommunications lead, I worked alongside doctors, nurses and everyone in between to save lives. I obtained a master’s in strategic communications (public relations and marketing) from Washington State University and have put it to work for my clients here at Fuel. My greatest joys are spending time with friends and adventuring in the Pacific Northwest. Our home is one of great beauty and adventure, and I welcome every opportunity to explore it.

What is the most valuable resource you provide to our members, and what does an average day look like?

The most valuable resource I provide is that of an advocate, as my work is to provide an ear (get it?) for my members to be heard. Every practice has its own unique challenges, identity and goals. My workday is spent tackling those challenges, promoting individual member identities and making their dreams a reality.

Tell us something unique about you.

I love fabric and playing with different designs! As a creative outlet, I love to style different textures, colors and materials in interesting and fun ways. From period costumes to modern fashion, I enjoy seeing the different style variations and creativity expressed in clothing.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

I refuse to live without fuzzy socks. They are warm and cozy, and I will die on this hill.
