Meet Jeremy Weaver, Regional Manager

This month’s employee spotlight focuses on Regional Manager Jeremy Weaver, who works out of Florida for the Southeast territory. With a background in sales, Jeremy enjoys having a hand in improving the quality of life for those with hearing loss.

1. Tell us a little about yourself?

I started my career in sales at the age of 16. I started in a telemarketing center specializing in surveys and campaign calls. I stayed in sales in many different industries, including banking/mortgage sales, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostic testing. I’ve worked for very large corporations, small companies and I’ve been self-employed during my career.

I’ve been in the audiology industry for six years. Over that time, I’ve worked with hundreds of audiology practices in all 50 states.

I’ve worked with just about every specialty of physician you can think of in that time as well as selling to hospital administrators/purchasing departments.

I’m married to my wife Jess and we live in Lake Mary, FL just outside of Orlando.

I have an undergraduate degree in exercise physiology from Penn State University and an MBA in health care administration from Wilmington University in Delaware.

2. What brought you into the ENT/audiology industry?

I have always been attracted to the health care industry because it is so dynamic and offers so many options for a career. I love helping practices/health care practitioners accomplish their goals and deliver better patient care.

Unlike other sales industries, audiology stands out to me. As an audiologist, you know that every time you sell hearing aids you are truly making an impact on that person’s life. In many cases, it’s a huge quality of life improvement for that patient. It gives me tremendous satisfaction to be a small part of that interaction.

3. Who or what inspires you?

Helping business owners accomplish their goals and grow their revenue is what really drives me. Every day I get opportunity to help business owners and administrators move their businesses forward and adapt to change. That is very gratifying.

4. Fun fact?

My wife and I love to travel, explore, hike and camp. I have been to almost every state in the country at least once and have hiked in over 20 national parks.
